Traveling While Pregnant AND THE FIRST KICK
So I just spent 2 and a half days in a cabin on a train as I moved from Ontario to Alberta. It was actually very nice I had my service dog with me so they upgraded me to a nice room so we would be comfortable. The meals were great but unfortunately I really didn't have much of a choice since most of the meal choices weren't pregnancy safe. However they were able to modify some of there meals so they were pregnancy friendly. It was really nice. The people were so friendly and understanding it was pretty good . The last dinner of the trip I was settling down to enjoy some delicious smelling trout, (all the fish I'm allowing myself for the month) when it happened! I felt the first soft kick!! It was soft like something pushing on my lower tummy! It wasn't a flutter that i could dismiss as gas, this was the real thing! A subtle push unmistakable it was my baby letting me know s/he heard me taking about him/her. I was amazed and trying very hard to to cry with excitement in front of everyone. I couldn't help but smile the rest of the day as i felt it a few more time.
