So, the last two days I've been babysitting my friend's 4 month old baby boy. He is a very chill baby, my 2 year old was loving having a baby in the house. Well, despite having 2 kids to watch and a house to take care of, I still managed to get a chapter written! Here's how I did it...
I put the 2 year old in the high chair to eat and gave the baby his bottle. Once he was burped the 2 year old was still eating so, little man got some tummy time in the kitchen while I finished the dishes. The kitchen counter got all wiped down and the toddler wanted out. While little man went down for a nap, the toddler and I cleaned her room. I turned putting the toys in the bin a game, every time i miss I had to jumping jacks. Once that was done she needed to go potty after cheering and thanking her for telling me she was rewarded with watching "Blah blah blah" (Hotel Transylvania 2). Little man was still sleeping soundly so I wrote a few pages. Half way through the movie little man woke up and need a change. Once he was clean we dance while I one-handed swept and mopped the kitchen. Then he got to lay down in my bed with the toddler watching Little Einsteins while I folded laundry and picked up the mess in my room. After reading stories while I fed little man and little Tsula turned the pages, he sat on my lap while I typed out a few pages and my toddler colored in her Minions book and then herself. Then while she ate dinner little man and I did some baby work outs so he could get the gas out. The two monster watched Dragon Tales while I cooked dinner and then finished most of my chapter! Finally my hubby came home and praise me on the house which made me feel really good. Little man's mommy came to pick him up and Tsula went to bed after many goodnight kisses and a slight melt down because her favorite blanky was in the dirty pile thanks to that after dinner Ice cream. It took 4 blankies and 4 extra toys and the promise that Callie will be clean for the morning to get her to sleep. Now, while the rest of the laundry and her blanky is washing I finished off my chapter and wrote this post. I will be reading 2 chapters of a book I've been so lucky to receive an ARC (advanced reading copy) to review before bed. As long as I can continue to read 2 chapters before bed I'll finish in time for when my review is due.
Being a stay at home mom is a tough job if you are trying to do other work as well. Finding time to write can be tough, but when I get words out in to me file it feels so good. At the end of the day when I am thoroughly exhausted it feels so good to relax and read something great out write down what's been bouncing around in my mind. It feels good to accomplish what I do and have the ability to spend so much time with my little one.

exercising and being a stay at home mom
They say you need an hour of exercise a day at least to stay healthy along with eating right. But between chores and baby how do you exercise? Well when the baby is a newborn as long as you eat healthy you should only worry about doing 20 minutes of yoga a day and don't worry about losing the baby weight just yet. You're a new mom it's ok to have a little pouch for the first year. But once your baby can entertain her/himself it's ok to start working out. One way is to do chores while baby naps and exercise in their room while they play. Another way if you take baby to the park you can do stretches on the way their and cardio while s/he plays with the other children. personally I get my chores done while she plays in the living room, but I'm lucky enough to have an open kitchen so I can see her playing from every room in my house. Some moms cook dinner while baby naps and have baby follow and play in the rooms they are working in. Laundry is still a process I was doing it when she went to bed. But I cloth diaper and want to sun them and she wakes up so early it's hard to get it done before she wakes up. My laundry room isn't very baby friendly so I have to get laundry done before dad goes to work so he can watch her for me. once chores are done, I've read her a story and put her down for a nap i do 30 minutes of cardio I get other other 30 minutes done in yoga before bed after she goes to bed.I haven't kept track of how much I've lost but my pants do feel looser. It's all about balance you can do it and you will feel great about yourself when you bring balance to your life.

Charlie banana soap
I've been using Charlie banana soap the last few washes and I must say I like it! The only problem with staining I've had is on my Applecheeks bamboo wipes but they stain no matter what soap I use. My washing routine is a cold rinse, hot wash after the spin i pull out the covers and hang to dry, then the liners go for one more rinse before a medium dry. You don't have to do the extra rinse but I find that the extra rinse help get rid of deep staining without it I have minor staining on the liners. Another tip I've gotten to prevent staining is to sun dry but with hemp liners and some cotton ones they become stiff sundrying. But that's my washing routine. Thank you for reading

Tsula Update
So I haven't posted in awhile because I have been VERY busy. We have been reunited with my husband and are moving into a new house. Tsula has made some incredible process at 8 months she has been pulling herself up and stand against chairs and tables for a month. She started eating cookies a little after starting solids at 6 months. she's been a crawling machine and sitting be herself since 4 months and babbling her mama's and dada's since 3 months. She started lifting her head early at only 3 weeks; she was holding it up for 10 minutes at this time too! Overall Tsula is progressing quickly and is a happy healthy baby. Currently she has 2 teeth pushing through at the bottom. Only thing that helps her teething is a cool damp washcloth she has 2for teething; one with knots and one without. She's also been eating harder foods to help relieve the itching like apples and crackers. She is also in the hair pulling and everything goes into the mouth stages. She loves going to the park and swinging on the baby swing. I myself have found a teacher whose going to teach me to sew and to can food. I've also made a lot of progress in my crocheting skills. I have made Tsula 2 dresses with matching hats, 4 pairs of shoes, a stuff elephant and a stuffed bunny. I am planning on making myself a shawl soon too. My day consists of me waking up early to feed Tsula, then she falls back asleep cuddling with daddy while I go clean up the living room and make breakfast. Then if my husband isn't going into work we go out and do some dog training or other out of the house chores. If he does go into work I clean the rest of the house crochet or watch TV while I tend to Tsula who is always either napping, playing on the floor with her toybox (not her toys the box for them) standing in her bouncer eating or playing with the dogs. Once daddy is home from work she plays with him for a little bit before going off to bed. She is a lucky baby she has a 9:30 bedtime that's consistent. All in all I'm am a very fortunate woman to have such and awesome husband and unbelievably easy first baby girl. More to come as I learn new things with Tsula.

Morning sickness
I have been lucky to spend my 9 weeks pregnant without morning sickness. That being throwing up, I have been nauseous to prevent getting sick I have been drinking ginger and peppermint tea. Using only fresh and organic material. On top of this tea I make sure i drink plenty of water especially before bed so when i wake up in the morning I don't get lightheaded. Avoiding the lightheadedness makes the transition from nonmotion to activity easier on my body making me less likely to get morning sickness as well as having a time everyday when I work out with pregnancy friendly exercises using the the Oh Baby! App for iPhones. Eating a healthy diet where I avoid greasy and spicy foods also helps. My favorite dish right now is a nice green salad with lime and a little sea salt instead of dressing. I hope this helps you out and feel free to follow me for other tips I find helpful as I enjoy my first pregnancy! Thank you for your time <3
